The crop disaster early warning and notification system integrates the real-time weather information, forecasting, and crops critical thresholds to provide useful and instant information to the farmers as a correspondence to disaster reduction and avoidance.
The content of this system includes the web version of real-time weather information such as the latest activity information which have real-time observation data, weather forecast of cultivation area and disaster information; historical data such as Taiwan’s agricultural climate patterns, happened probability of disaster, map of common disaster hot zone, disaster prevention calendar, 24 solar terms, achievements of the agricultural and forestry disaster prevention program results display and so on; also provide APP version of weather disaster notification, which integrates real-time weather information and crops critical thresholds, and actively promotes it to farmers through mobile phones to provide farmers with disaster prevention to reduce crop losses.
